We believe that the location represents an excellent environment in which to grow and to learn, the atmosphere is vibrant and energising and our staff group have a child centred ethos and a determination to enable the very best opportunities and positive experiences for the children they care for.

The children who live at Ocean Lodge do of course require boundaries and will have to “buy into “ a culture that emphasises respect for themselves and consideration and respect for others . We believe that this can be achieved via role modelling and by consistency of good carer practice.

The management team for Ocean Lodge have over 20 years experience of Residential care for this client group and their enthusiasm, knowledge and experience is evident in the quality of staff recruited and in the training induction and positive ethos culture which is achieved.

Above all of this however is the awareness and knowledge that childhood should really be, and can really be , about Fun and Discovery.
